Who I am
I'm John Ion Sandalo — a builder based in Cebu, Philippines. I take a business idea or an operational problem and turn it into a working digital product using AI-assisted tooling. Not a mockup. Not a pitch deck. Something that runs.
About
I think, I build, and I ship. Here's the thinking behind how I work, where my experience comes from, and why I build the way I do.

I'm John Ion Sandalo — a builder based in Cebu, Philippines. I take a business idea or an operational problem and turn it into a working digital product using AI-assisted tooling. Not a mockup. Not a pitch deck. Something that runs.
02
E-commerce websites and online stores for small businesses — full storefronts, brand sites, and UX redesigns — shaped by real customer-support experience so the product actually works for the people using it.
03
I start with the business and the people using the thing — then design, then build, then test, then refine, then ship. AI accelerates the build. Judgment makes the product. Tools are chosen when the constraint calls for them, not as a shortcut around thinking.
04
Honesty over hype. I won't invent metrics, fake testimonials, or claim expertise I don't have. The work should speak, and where it can't speak yet, I say so.
05
Before and alongside building products, I worked in customer and technical support — live chat, email, escalations, and Tier-2 troubleshooting across teams like Circle of Greatness, TTEC, and Concentrix. That shaped how I design: I've seen where real people get stuck, what frustrates them, and what makes them stay. Building the product is only half the job.
06
AI helps me prototype faster, explore solutions, generate starting points, and automate repetitive work. Tools like Lovable and Base44 let me ship certain products in days instead of weeks. But the product decisions, the UX, the testing, the debugging, and the judgment — those stay human.

Complete digital products for small businesses that need more than a template — e-commerce systems, AI-assisted tools, and automations where design and engineering both matter. If that's you, let's talk.
The projects are the real proof.
